About the Department
The Bradford Police Department is committed to protecting the residents of the Village of Bradford through professional law enforcement services, community engagement, and proactive public safety efforts.
The Department responds to calls for service, enforces traffic and criminal laws, investigates incidents, assists residents with public safety concerns, and works closely with other local, county, and state agencies.

Scott Keithley
Chief of Police
Chief Scott Keithley has served in law enforcement since 2010 and brings experience in patrol operations, criminal investigations, administration, and community policing to the Bradford Police Department.
Throughout his career, Chief Keithley has developed specialized experience investigating crimes against children, including physical abuse, sexual abuse, and online exploitation. He is also the founder of a regional Crimes Against Children Task Force created to strengthen cooperation between law enforcement, child advocacy professionals, and other agencies serving rural communities.
As Chief of Police, he oversees the Department's patrol services, criminal investigations, ordinance enforcement, training, compliance, equipment, and day-to-day operations. He continues to develop partnerships with local, county, state, and federal agencies while expanding resources available to the Bradford community.
Chief Keithley believes effective small-town policing requires officers to be accessible, responsive, and engaged with the people they serve. The Department's goal is to address concerns professionally, solve problems proactively, and maintain a strong working relationship with residents, businesses, and community organizations.
