The Village of Bradford board and swimming pool committee have decided to open the Bradford pool for the 2021 season. Opening date will be June 7^th, 2021. The pool hours will be from 1pm-5pm Monday-Saturday (closed on Sundays). The pool committee and/or pool manager reserves the right to close the pool at any time. Currently, we will not be renting pool out for any private parties (this may change). Due to an anonymous donation, the 2021 pool admission will be FREE during regular hours to all (In-district) families within the Bradford school district . Out of district fees will still apply.

Due to the evolving Covid-19 state guidelines, the pool has some additional rules this year. The Bradford Pool committee reserves the right to change these rules at any time and will do our best to keep the public informed. The additional rules are as follows:

1. Masks should be worn upon entry and while poolside. Exceptions will be made for children younger than 2 years of age, people with medical conditions or disabilities that prevent them from safely wearing a face covering and for those individuals who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (please see link below for more information on the details of what it means to be fully vaccinated). Masks should not be worn into the pool. We understand that this is a controversial subject but it is necessary for us to follow ALL the Illinois State pool guidelines. The Village board and swimming pool manager reserve the right to remove any individual who refuses to comply with the above guidelines including but are not limited to a season ban from the pool. We are trying to preserve the future of our pool. Please help us do that by following the guidelines put forth by the state. For further information, here is the link to those guidelines:

2. We will be checking temperatures upon entry into the pool area. You will be asked to leave if your temperature is above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit and asked not to return until you are fever free for at least 24 hours without fever reducing medication.

3. Bring your own chair! The pool will not have chairs or picnic tables this year.

4. Please follow current social distancing guidelines in and out of the pool.

5. There will be no concessions. No food or alcohol will be allowed in the pool area. Drinks are allowed, but must have a resealable lid to prevent spills. Please do not share drinks with others outside your household.
